Field Trip

Had a field trip for work to a client site. Literally, to a desert island, 2.5 hours by car and another 20 minutes by boat. It is an amazing place, full of wildlife, hope to visit again with more time to explore. More pics over the weekend...

Biking

Another day off... one of the big sheikhs died. Rented a bike and took a late afternoon ride on the Corniche... really nice.

Moved to a new apartment with some breathing room, a 2 bedroom on an upper floor in the same building. Finally, a decent view!

New Years Day in Dubai

Spent New Years Day in Dubai.  Saw the aquarium at Dubai Mall, then checked out the ski slope at the Mall of the Emirates.  Two of the biggest malls in the world with extras.   And, a view of the world's tallest building... Burj Dubai.
